Biography

Hi, I am Mark Riseley, Strategic and Financial Consultant with Agile Executives. I originally trained as Chartered Accountant with KPMG and have since progressed from Group FC to CFO (or NED) predominantly in highly successful medium size high and hyper growth services or tech-led companies. The growth in these entities have typically required development of personnel, systems, processes and systems in tandem, to support high growth in an efficient and scalable manner. In addition to the day job, I’ve run fundraising processes, M&A, exit events (IPO, Trade sales). I’ve also acted as Project Manager or Project Sponsor for many growth and turnaround projects. Complimenting my core expertise in finance, I’ve also led HR, Legal, PMO and Risk Teams – essentially any business support function, enabling the CEO and rest of Exec Team functions to focus on top line growth and excellent Customer Services. I have first-hand experience working and scaling businesses in Ireland, UK, US, Europe, East Africa, South America and APAC. In my personal time, I’ve served on the Boards and Committees of a number of Sporting and Charitable organisations, having been an avid and active participant in sports.
